Changes To My Study Programme.

To me I would like you made many many many changes. Our curriculum is a little archaic and little update. The subjects of our curriculum are: Orchestral Percussion, Orchestral practice, Theory, Harmony, Piano, Chamber Music, History of Arts and Music, Musical Analisys, Ahestetic, Counterpoint, etc...
In general they are the traditional subjects in he musical formation but the approach in the "Universidad de Chile" is very outdated in comparison with our current reality and our work reality.
I fell we are being to perform in the 19th century without anu sense of reality and the challenges that our current work environment demands.

The length of studies is very long and many years of studies (Eleven years of studies!!!). The workload is very demand and requires a lot of daily practice.

"Artes Centro" he has never had a good reputation regarding his infraestructure and building. The Faculty has many basic operating problems and facilities. We do not have casino, our library is an excuse to say that there is, our bathrooms have no toilet paper and soap, the elevators are always defective... etc etc etc... this is really a university faculty? I must say disappointedly NOT!
All this is very sad, but true...

Due to the above points it´s obvious that the use of technology is not part of our study program and the teaching methods they are very archaic. I repeat, your approach is to develope in the nineteenth century.

Maybe it´s very pessimistic what I expose but it is a real experience that gives the opportunity to do something so that the future generations find a better place to develop
