My Favorite Book

I have many many many favorite books. So, It´s very difficult to me select only one of many others. In general I like to read philosophy, History, sociology. So all my favorites author are philosophers, sociologists or historian. Anyway, If I had to choose only one, I would choose Emil Cioran.

Cioran is a Romanian philosopher and essayist man. His work is based on philosophical pessimism. Had been issued on matters such as suffering, decay, nihilism, death, cynicism, absurd, darkness, etc...

My favorite book of Cioral is "The Trouble with being born". This book is a collection of aphorisms that speak of birth, nothing, death, reincarnation, suffering, loneliness, god, matter, etc... This book is not easy to read because is very poetic, declamatory and submerged in the darkness and despair. I recommend it highly to reflect on our reality. Read in small doses because is a very strong drink.

My last reading book was "The Nomenklatura" - The Privileged ones in the URRS.  This book is about of the high hierarchy of political class to the detriment of Russian peoples. Highly recommended for those who want to investigate realities that were hidden for so many years.
